Salsa with Jim!
Many of you met Innkeeper Jim during your stay at the Inn. What many of our guests don’t know, though, is that Jim not only has a passion for food, he’s a great cook—and years ago (please don’t ask how many) graduated from cooking school. One of his favorite things to do in the summer is take ingredients from our organic gardens and make his famous salsa—a wonderfully tangy and zesty blend of the freshest tomatoes, cilantro, and other goodies. For this event, Jim will show you how he prepares his salsa, talk about our gardens and our sustainability efforts, and join you in a light lunch at the Inn.
Joining Jim will be Monica Sallouti, a certified natural chef, who will be fixing other lunch dishes and doing a cooking demo as well. And what’s lunch without wine, right? Our friends at Envy Wines will be generously sharing several of their award-winning wines for you to taste and drink during lunch.
